Cimple is constantly evolving to support a growing community of buyers and suppliers. As more members join, we’re continuously adding new features and enhancements to make procurement easier and more efficient.

Here are some of the recent updates we’ve made to our platform.

• User Permissions (For Buyers): Ability to create teams within a single organisation and filter that team’s view and access to procurements. 

• Contract Register with Social Value Tracking (For Buyers): Ability to add and manage contracts linked to your awarded procurements in Cimple. You can record suppliers’ social value commitments, track progress against those metrics, and monitor whether delivery is on track. This is a separate module from Sourcing. 

• Social Value Register (For Buyers): The Social Value Tracker is a built-in module within your Contract Register that allows your organisation to record, monitor and report on the social value commitments made by your suppliers as part of awarded contracts.

The Social Value Register will:

• Provide a collated, read-only view of social value items across multiple contracts

• Surface key summary information for each social value item, including:

  1. Contract reference

  2. Supplier

  3. Social value metric (committed vs delivered values)

  4. Status (e.g. On Track, At Risk)

• Custom Questions: Ability to add custom questions in areas such as the Selection Questionnaire and Commercial Response, enabling suppliers to provide more organisation-specific detail.

• Same-Day Responses for Quick Quotes and Direct Awards: Buyers can now receive supplier responses on the same day, with a minimum 2-hour response window.

1. No restriction between clarification deadline and submission deadline

2. Both deadlines can be set to the same day

3. Enables faster turnaround for low-value or urgent procurements
