Cimple is constantly evolving to support a growing community of buyers and suppliers. As more members join, we’re continuously adding new features and enhancements to make procurement easier and more efficient.
Here are some of the recent updates we’ve made to our platform.
Automated Find a Tender (FTS) Notice Publishing: We've introduced support for Central Digital Platform (CDP) / Find a Tender (FTS) API Keys, allowing buying organisations to publish procurement notices directly from Cimple without needing to complete the process manually through Find a Tender.
Buyers can now add their organisation's CDP/FTS API key within Organisation Settings.
Once configured, PA23 notices can be published directly to Find a Tender from within Cimple.
API keys are managed at organisation level, ensuring all authorised users publish using the same credentials.
The current notice types supported are UK4 (Tender Notice), UK5 (Transparency Notice), UK6 (Contract Award Notice), UK7 (Contract Details Notice), and UK12 (Procurement termination notice) providing support for the core procurement journey from tender through to contract award for Open Procurement procedures.
Control whether notices are published to Find a Tender: Some organisations are not required to publish notices to Find a Tender under the Procurement Act 2023. To support these procurement approaches, organisations can now control whether Cimple submits notices externally.
A new setting within Organisation Settings allows buyers to enable or disable automatic publication to Find a Tender.
Organisations that do not require Find a Tender publication can continue managing their procurement activity entirely within Cimple.
The setting can be updated by organisation administrators and applies across procurement notice publishing.
Updated Clarification Management: Buyers can now send clarification questions to suppliers at any point up until award, even after a procurement has closed, and can choose to message one supplier privately or several at once. Procurement updates now have their own section, separate from clarifications.
Analytics: A new Analytics section is now available in your buyer dashboard, giving you a real-time view of procurement performance across your organisation.
The Analytics dashboard includes:
Headline metrics: procurements completed, procurements live, total contracted value, and % of procurements completed on time
Charts showing procurement activity by stage and procurement value by tier
Filters to break down the data by team, user, or date range
For organisations with Contract Register, two additional tabs: Contracting (contract totals, expiries, and top contracts by value) and Social Value (commitments by theme, status, and at-risk criteria
