Cimple Brief

Open any opportunity and expand the Cimple brief section at the top. The brief covers:

• Whether the opportunity is relevant for you, based on your matching settings and the notice

• The qualifications and criteria the buyer is asking for

• The full timeline and key dates

• Your next steps

Each section names its source, whether that's the notice itself or a document you've uploaded.

For opportunities from Find a Tender or Contracts Finder, the notice often doesn't include everything, so some sections of the brief may be incomplete. Adding the tender documents fills the gaps.

1. Open the opportunity and expand the Cimple brief

2. Upload the tender documents in the tender documents section

3. Select Regenerate Brief to update the brief with your documents

• The brief is generated by AI. It can make mistakes, and buyers may update details after publishing, so always check the original notice and documents before you bid.

• The brief doesn't update automatically when you add or remove documents. Regenerate it when you're ready.

• You can upload PDF, Word, Excel, .odt and ZIP files, up to 50 MB per file and 100 MB per ZIP.

• Scanned documents with no readable text can't be used. Upload a text version if you have one.

• Documents you upload are only visible to your organisation. File contents are deleted 90 days after the submission deadline, but your brief is kept.
