Use Cimple with Claude

You can connect Cimple to Claude and work with your opportunities and supplier profile in the AI assistant you may already use for bid preparation.

What you can do

Search and review your opportunities, including saved and invited ones, and ask why an opportunity matched your profile
Get a breakdown of what a tender requires, including qualification requirements, key dates and what to prepare
Draft responses using your own profile, case studies and previous bids

How to connect

You’ll need a Claude account and your usual Cimple supplier sign-in.

Step 1: Add Cimple to Claude

Sign in to Claude at claude.ai
Go to Settings, then Connectors. In some versions this is under Customise, then Connectors.
Select Add, then Add custom connector
Enter a name, for example Cimple, and paste this URL: https://api.cimple.uk/mcp
Select Continue, leave the settings as they are, and select Add
Select Connect

Step 2: Sign in to Cimple

Select Continue Connecting
Sign in with your usual Cimple supplier email and password
Select Allow read-only access
You’ll be taken back to Claude, where you can start asking questions about your opportunities

If you belong to more than one supplier organisation, Claude works with whichever one you have selected in Cimple. To switch:

In Cimple, choose the organisation you want using the selector at the bottom left of the screen
Go back to Claude and ask your question again

The connection is read-only. Claude can't change anything in your Cimple account, and you still complete and submit your application in Cimple.
Claude only uses what you've recorded in Cimple, such as your company profile, case studies and saved answers.
For tender requirements and timelines, open the Cimple Brief on the opportunity first. Until then, Claude works from the notice only.
