Competitors

• Suggested Suppliers lists organisations working in similar areas and regions to you, based on your profile and public contract award data

• Tracked Suppliers is where you keep the competitors you want to follow

• Select a competitor to see their insights, including the contracts they've won

• Organisation profiles now show organisation size and whether a supplier is an SME or VCSE

1. Go to Competitors

2. Browse the Suggested Suppliers tab

3. Select Track on any supplier you want to follow. They'll appear in your Tracked Suppliers tab.

• You can track up to 10 suppliers.

• Award data comes from public notices on Find a Tender and Contracts Finder.

Once you're tracking competitors, Cimple lets you know when something changes, so you don't need to keep checking.

How competitor alerts work

• Win alerts: when a tracked competitor wins a contract, you'll see a banner on your dashboard

• Expiring contract emails: we'll email you 60 days before one of a tracked competitor's contracts ends, giving you time to prepare for the re-tender

Good to know about alerts

• Expiring contract emails are on by default and go to the person who set up the tracking. You can turn them off in your alert preferences.

• If you're in more than one organisation tracking the same competitor, you'll only get one email.
