Opportunity Details

Once you've decide what notice type you would like to create, you wiill then be able to add in all of the opportunity information e.g. SQ, evaluation weighting, technical questions and more.

The competition doesn't have to put together in one go, you are able to part-create the tender, save it as a draft and return at a later stage to complete and publish it.

Using the selection questionnaire

Based on the competition you are creating, you may decide to use the standard selection questionnaire as part of the tender. The standard selection questionnaire on Cimple is taken from the most recent template published by Cabinet Office and Crown Commercial Service and it can be found here.

Once you have ticked the box to use the SQ in your opportunity, you will need to add in the levels of insurance needed for your contract. There are four insurance levels for you to complete (indicated below) and these values will be displayed to all suppliers when applying to the opportunity:

Applying the evaluation weighting

In step 1 of creating your competition you will add in the overall evaluation weighting for the quality, social and commercial sections. This weighting can then be further broken down for the quality and social value sections of your competition.

Once you have added a question, you can select a scoring type from pass/fail, information only, and percentage. If the percentage option is selected, please then input the percentage weighting for that individual question. All questions added in the section should equal a total of 100%. This scoring breakdown will be visible to the supplier when they are applying to the competition.
