Manage responses to your bids
When buyers assess each supplier’s bid application, they’ll give feedback, award, or reject a proposal accordingly. Being successful will depend on the response you’ve given, the way you've answered your SQ, and the general requirements of the job itself.
Remember, no one wins every time, but our platform makes sure that the selection process is as anonymous as possible to ensure that smaller suppliers have an equal chance of landing larger opportunities.
Log in to Cimple
Navigate to your dashboard by clicking 'Suppliers' along the top-navigation bar and then click on 'Supplier dashboard'
To the left hand side, you’ll see your dashboard appear
You’ll see there’s an option to click into ‘Awarded opportunities’ and ‘Rejected opportunities’
Click into whichever category you need to view
What to do when you've been awarded or rejected from an opportunity
You’ll know as soon as a buyer has made the decision to reject your application or award you an opportunity because, as your friendly procurement ally, we’ll email you the news.
So, naturally, if you’ve been successful – congratulations! And if you’ve missed out, nevermind, another opportunity will come. On Cimple, buyers are widely encouraged to provide feedback to applicants, so there’s a good chance you’ll get to understand why you weren’t successful this time.
Getting awarded or rejected from a DPS
If you’ve been rejected from a DPS opportunity, you can always reapply later. When you reapply, your previous submission will be applied, only this time, you’ll be able to make the appropriate changes to give you a better chance of success.
If you’ve been awarded a DPS, as an already approved shortlisted supplier, you’ll be notified of, and able to bid on any future DPS mini-competitions put forward by the buyer.
How to access feedback
We’ll notify you via email if a buyer has provided any feedback on your application.
However, if you’re on the Cimple platform, you may be alerted that feedback has been given by checking for a red dot against your notifications on the supplier dashboard. Just click into the notification and it’ll lead you straight to your feedback.
