Help Centre > Supplier Support > Manage responses to your bids
When buyers assess each supplier’s bid application, they’ll give feedback, award, or reject a proposal accordingly. Being successful will depend on the response you’ve given, it could either be the way you've answered your technical questions, or the general requirements of the job itself.
Remember, no one wins every time, but our platform makes sure that the selection process is as anonymous as possible to ensure that even the smaller suppliers have an equal chance of landing larger opportunities.
Log in to Cimple
Navigate to your dashboard by clicking 'Suppliers' along the top-navigation bar and then click on 'Supplier dashboard'
To the left hand side, you’ll see your dashboard appear
You’ll see there’s an option to click into ‘Awarded opportunities’ and ‘Rejected opportunities’
Click into whichever category you need to view
You’ll know as soon as a buyer has made the decision to reject your application or award you an opportunity because, as your friendly procurement ally, we’ll email you the news.
So, naturally, if you’ve been successful – congratulations! And if you’ve missed out, nevermind, another opportunity will come. On Cimple, buyers are widely encouraged to provide feedback to applicants, so there’s a good chance you’ll get to understand why you weren’t successful this time.
If you’ve been rejected from a Dynamic Market opportunity, you can always reapply later. When you reapply, your previous submission will load and you’ll be able to make the appropriate changes to give you a better chance of success.
If you’ve been awarded a place on a Dynamic Market, as an approved shortlisted supplier, you’ll be notified of, and able to bid on any future mini-competitions off that Dynamic Market put forward by the buyer.
When participating in a CFP, you may either be awarded or rejected at various stages of the process. Here’s what you need to know:
Getting Awarded in a CFP
Awards can only happen after the BAFO stage is completed.
If your submission is successful, the buyer will confirm the award, and your application status will update to AWARDED.
You’ll receive a notification of your success, and your award status will be visible in your supplier dashboard.
Once awarded, the buyer can no longer make changes to the decision, and the process for this opportunity is closed.
Getting Rejected in a CFP
Rejections can occur in the following scenarios:
If the buyer shortlists suppliers and you’re not selected, your application will automatically move to a REJECTED status
If you don’t submit a response before the deadline for any stage or component, you will be automatically rejected from progressing further
If the buyer confirms an award to other suppliers, any remaining applicants will also be automatically rejected
We’ll notify you via email if a buyer has provided any feedback on your application.
However, if you’re on the Cimple platform, you may be alerted that feedback has been given by checking for a red dot against your notifications on the supplier dashboard. Just click into the notification and it’ll lead you straight to your feedback.
